Dead animals are collected from the city of Al Ain and its suburbs from about nearly 11,600 farms and sent to incinerators. The estimated number of big animals is 5,544 animals, and for medium to small animals 90,000 annually. The animals are transported in specified vehicles to incinerators located about 35 km from Al Ain city center. Gas emissions are monitored on-site and in accordance with global environment, health and safety standards followed in the country.
